Profession:
Mike joined the Ontario and Trumansburg Telephone Companies and Finger Lakes Technologies Group, Inc. in November, 2003 as Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for all accounting and financial functions, in addition to administrative responsibilities in the areas of risk management, inventory management, regulatory and customer billing.

Mike has extensive telecommunications experience and came to us from Frontier Communications (a Citizens Communications Company) following a 24 year career. During his tenure, he held a variety of management positions in the area of financial planning and analysis, regulatory planning, internal audit and risk management. His last position was Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. He was very involved in consolidating the financial planning, reporting and analytical functions across the 33 Frontier properties in 11 states. He established financial metrics and business case review procedures to evaluate and approve sales and financial initiatives. Mike conducted audits and developed financial evaluations of potential acquisitions for the corporation.

During his time with our company, Mike led the effort to establish a new subsidiary to provide long distance service to our customers, a move that has proven to be very successful as a customer retention and revenue strategy.

Education:
Mike holds a B.A. degree in Mathematics and Economics from S.U.N.Y Geneseo, a Masters Degree in Economics from S.U.N.Y. Binghamton and a Masters Degree in Business Administration and Finance from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Activities:
For many years, Mike was a member of the Penfield School District's Board of Education and an Adjunct Instructor in Economics/Business Administration at Monroe Community College.

Family:
Mike and his wife Nancy reside in Penfield. They have three grown children. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, boating and spending time with his family.
